On Monday, July 5, 2021, a fire broke out in an alley garage located at 112th Street and Parnell Avenue in Chicago. The alarm was still active at 04:13:28, with Engine 62, Engine 115, Ladder Truck 27, Tower Ladder 24, and Battalion Chief 22 responding to the scene. The incident remains under investigation, but early reports suggest that flames engulfed a vehicle and the adjacent garage structure.
