At the end of May 2006, Fengshen Company successfully developed engineering tires for the 26.5-25-40PR (L-3/G-32) beam trucks, specifically designed for the SUPER CARRIER SERVICE. This development added new specifications to the company’s range of personalized engineering machinery tires. The tire is designed to fit a standard rim size of 22.00/3.0. When inflated, the tire width measures 675mm with a tolerance of ±3.5%, and the outer diameter reaches 1750mm with a tolerance of ±1.5%. At a speed of 10 km/h and a pressure of 700 kPa, the tire can support a load of 19,600 kg.
These tires are specifically matched with a 900-ton power flat tire-type beam-moving vehicle, which is primarily used in bridge construction projects on high-speed railways and highways. The design requirements for these tires include high load capacity, low ground contact pressure, and strong torque resistance. To meet these demands, the tire uses high-strength nylon-66 dipped cord fabric as the reinforcement material, combined with a multi-steel structure that ensures a durable and robust carcass. This construction enhances the tire's load-bearing capability and overall strength.
The bead area is reinforced to withstand the torque generated when the beam is turned, minimizing carcass deformation. Additionally, the tire features a wide driving surface and a low groove ratio, which increases the ground contact area and reduces the ground pressure exerted on the roadbed and bridge structures under heavy loads. This design helps protect infrastructure while maintaining stability and performance.
The tread compound is formulated for exceptional wear resistance and cut resistance, making it ideal for harsh engineering environments. This advanced rubber formula significantly improves the tire's resistance to cuts, abrasions, and punctures, ultimately extending its service life. Overall, this tire represents a significant advancement in engineering tire technology, tailored for demanding construction applications.
