On August 30th, the Huizhou No. 1 gas turbine unit, a joint project between Dongfang Electric Group Co., Ltd. and Mitsubishi Corporation of Japan, successfully completed a 100% full-power load rejection test in Guangdong Province. This milestone marked a significant step forward in the unit's performance validation. Following this achievement, the unit began a 168-hour continuous operation test on September 8, further confirming its stability and reliability under real-world conditions.
According to reports, this is the second gas turbine unit developed jointly by Dongfang Electric and Mitsubishi. The unit was first ignited on July 18 and achieved grid connection on August 15, marking the start of its operational phase. The successful completion of these tests highlights the strong technical collaboration between the two companies and underscores their commitment to delivering high-performance energy solutions.
