Abstract : The main oil pump is the key equipment in the middle of the pipeline station in the western pipeline, and the mechanical seal is the core component of the main oil pump. This article mainly does not install the temperature detection element for the main seal of the oil pump. It can not monitor the temperature problem in real time. After reading the data of a large number of oil pump, it selects the three temperature transmitters according to the actual situation on the site, and finally, the machine The installation and commissioning were carried out on the seal to realize the real-time detection, alarm and interlock functions of the mechanical seal temperature of the main oil pump.

0 Introduction The main oil pump is used as the key equipment for the transportation of pipeline oil products. The mechanical seal is the core component and the vulnerable part of the main oil pump. Once a failure occurs, the maintenance takes a long time, the labor intensity of maintenance is high, and the maintenance cost is high. The leakage of oil products has caused environmental and safety risks and has affected the smoothness and reliability of oil production. Therefore, it can be foreseeable that the mechanical seal is in a poor operating condition, and stopping the pump early for maintenance or overhaul can greatly reduce the damage of the mechanical seal, reduce the maintenance cost, and save maintenance time. The detection and protection of the mechanical seals by the main oil and crude oil transmission pumps of the Double Blue Line are performed only when the mechanical seal has been damaged and causes a large amount of oil to leak. The interlocking protection is not performed directly on the operating temperature of the mechanical seal. Detection and protection cannot realize the real-time detection, trend judgment and preventive maintenance of the operational status of mechanical seals.

1 Main contents of transformation
1.1 Selection of Temperature Transmitter Mounting Position Because of the absence of a ready-to-install temperature transmitter on the mechanical seal, there are no oil pump manufacturers (Sulzer, main oil pump, model HSB, crude oil main pump, Luer pump, model ZLM). The existing specifications and models are provided. Therefore, it is necessary to re-select the model according to the actual conditions on the site, and it is possible to perform the on-site installation without the need for hot work. After reviewing the drawings of the mechanical seals of a large number of crude oil and refined oil transmission main pumps, it was decided to install a temperature transmitter on the reserved interface of the main oil pump mechanical seal, as shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 .

1.2 Selection and commissioning of the temperature transmitter After many communication and coordination with the manufacturer's technical personnel, the sample was prepared four times in succession and installed at the site. The model specifications were finally determined. The main implementation process is: dismantling the inner six parts above the mechanical seal of the original oil pump; installing a customized three-temperature temperature transmitter on the mechanical seal; and field wiring the Sanchang temperature transmitter (reserved on-site Terminals); to the temperature transmitter PLC cabinet wiring; PLC system programming and configuration work; the mechanical seal to increase the temperature transmitter temperature alarm, high alarm test. 2 Innovation
1) The detection and protection of the mechanical seal is changed from the original designed after-shut-down pump protection to the real-time monitoring and trend judgment of the lubrication status of the mechanical seal, which in turn enables preventive maintenance.

3 Application effect

Before the unmodified, the average number of mechanical seals damaged each year in Gansu Branch was 3, and the unit price of each mechanical seal was 135,000 yuan, and the annual spare part cost was 405,000 yuan. After the transformation, the branch company discovered four high-temperature seal failures by mechanically sealing the temperature remote transmission data, and took preventive maintenance measures in a timely manner. 2) The real-time monitoring of the operating temperature of the mechanical seal, historical trend analysis, and the realization of the alarm chain function provide an important technical parameter for the overall state detection and reliability analysis of the pump unit, so that a more effective maintenance strategy can be formulated.
