1 Introduction

The 1#105m2 sintering machine of Laiwu Branch of Shandong Steel Co., Ltd. was put into production in June 1993, and it is equipped with a 76m2 single-chamber three-field electrostatic precipitator. The original design smoke emission standard is 150mg/m3, and the flue gas treatment capacity is 218880~359000 m3/ h. In recent years, the national environmental protection requirements have become more and more strict, and the sintering dust collector equipment has deteriorated, resulting in serious discharge exceeding the standard and cannot meet the national dust emission standards. Electrostatic precipitators and bag filters are the main forces in current industrial flue gas purification equipment and play a leading role in dust control. Under the requirements of the new steel industry pollutant discharge standards, due to the limited ability of the electrostatic precipitator to handle fine dust, the bag filter has high running resistance and high energy consumption, and can not meet the dust removal requirements. In the process of reforming the electrostatic precipitator, the electric bag composite dust collector is first used at the tail of the sintering machine, and 70% of dust particles of 10 μm or more in the flue gas are removed by the electric dust removal unit to reduce the dust concentration of the flue gas and control Within 10g/m3, the remaining dust is captured by the bag type dust removal unit, and the total discharge concentration is controlled to be less than 20 mg/m3. 2 Working principle and performance characteristics of electric bag composite dust collector

3 Technical transformation plan and operation

The dust collector is a large modification, and it is limited by the site and investment. It is impossible to increase the dust collection efficiency by expanding the effective dust collection area of ​​the electrostatic precipitator, increasing the number of electric fields, and extending the length of the electric field. The electric bag composite dust removal technology can realize maximum reuse and reduce the investment cost; on the other hand, the pre-dusting action of the electric dust removal unit can reduce the requirement for the filter material of the subsequent bag filter, and the price is relatively low.
