In response to rising oil prices worldwide, Mr. Jeff Owens, president of Delphi’s Asia Pacific region, said recently that Delphi recognizes that people have to adjust their driving habits and that more and more consumers will favor hybrid vehicles. Owens said: “Delphi, which integrates depth and breadth in system integration, has more than 20 years of experience in power electronics and can provide customers with all kinds of advanced micro, medium and heavy-duty hybrid powertrain technology.”

As a leader in innovation and system integration, Delphi successfully integrates hybrid system controllers, inverters, transformers, and battery systems into a single module that is particularly compact and ideally placed behind the rear seats of passenger cars. The unique Drop-in light hybrid start-stop system is a complete and independent drive system that can be used under a variety of different voltage and power conditions. In addition, the Delphi 14-volt belt-drive start-stop micro-mixing system shuts down the engine when the vehicle is parked, and quickly restarts through the auxiliary belt when the driver is ready to go forward, thereby achieving the purpose of reducing fuel consumption.

It is understood that from power electronics to electronics and electrical architectures, from heat exchange management to after-sales support services, Delphi offers high-tech hybrid technology to automakers with various technical advantages to help them meet consumer demand.
