1) Material and oil properties
In the process of designing and manufacturing, materials should be correctly selected according to the nature and characteristics of the parts of the generator set. Improper material selection, inconsistent materials, and inappropriate substitutes are the main causes of wear, corrosion, deformation, fatigue damage, cracking, and aging. The properties of various materials and fuels used in internal combustion engines can be summed up in three aspects: physical properties, chemical properties, and mechanical properties. Many failures of the internal combustion engine are the result of these properties that are due to external factors. If the metal material is subjected to excessive force, it will deform and crack or even break. It will oxidize under high temperature and will cause fatigue damage under various loads; non-metallic materials will cause aging; the acid substances contained in the oil will have metal Corrosion, and will make oil deterioration.
2) Structural features of the machine
Each system component of the internal combustion engine has its own characteristics in its structural form. In the work, external factors often work through these features, causing the related parts to fail. For example, due to the structural characteristics of the engine water jacket, under the effect of high temperature, the cooling water can easily form scale on the outer wall of the cylinder liner, which affects the cooling effect of the cylinder jacket.

Direct contact and relative movement between the wear and tear due to friction, for example, the piston ring of the internal combustion engine directly in contact with the cylinder during the work process, the piston ring in the cylinder for high-speed reciprocating linear motion, resulting in cylinder wear. Mechanical parts with severe temperature changes during operation are deformed and cracked due to thermal stress. 1) Improper use
The user did not follow the operating instructions and use the machine. Such as frequent low-speed operation, rapid increase in load without warming up, low oil pressure, etc. will accelerate the wear of the parts; long working hours, excessive load changes, long-term overload operation, etc. can also cause premature damage of parts.
2) Poor maintenance
In the maintenance of the machine, the work was not completed in strict accordance with the prescribed technical requirements, or an incorrect operation method was taken, resulting in human error. In normal maintenance, it is necessary to replace the oil in a timely manner, and regularly clean the scales of the air cleaner and the water tank. 3) The maintenance quality is not high
During the repair process, if it is improperly processed and does not meet the technical requirements for repairs, such as improper fitting gaps (or public benefits) of parts, insufficient surface roughness, and unclean cleaning during assembly, the unit will cause problems during use.
