This is from Eric Haak:

Shortly before 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3rd, the Chicago Fire Department received a call about a fire at 3110 W. Fillmore. The first arriving unit was Engine 44, which reported a fire in a one-story commercial garage. The location was less than half a mile down Fillmore from Engine 107’s station. Engines 44 and 109 were the Still Alarm units, while Engines 23 and 95 were on the box. Engine 99 also had access to a hydrant. Battalion 14 arrived shortly after and gave a size-up of a one-story building, 100 x 75 feet, communicating to a two-story ordinary building, 25 x 50 feet with back porches. The fire was on the second floor. The first photo was taken about 20 minutes into the incident. It turned out the fire was actually in two separate vacant commercial buildings in the center, with some exposure to Eddie’s Towing, which was mostly spared. I heard that Engines 5, 18, and 26 were dispatched on the 2-11, so I don’t think Engine 107 ever made it to the scene.
