Your David Kind glasses come perfectly aligned with precision-crafted lenses, thanks to our advanced photo measurement technology that captures exact dimensions. While we offer optional pre-adjustments before dispensing upon request, your frames may gradually stretch or shift with regular use. Don’t worry—there are simple, at-home adjustments you can make to keep your glasses fitting just right. Follow these easy tips from our experienced team to maintain the perfect fit. These adjustments are ideal for minor tweaks, but if you need more help, our team is always here for you. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions. Plus, if your frames need a little extra care, check out our Refurbish Program to learn more.

To adjust the nose pads, gently push them together with your thumbs. This will bring them closer to your nose for a more secure fit. If you have a solid frame, you can soften the arms by submerging them in warm water for 30–60 seconds. This makes the material pliable, allowing you to reshape the arms for a tighter fit behind your ears. Keep in mind that different materials react differently—plastic and stainless steel frames tend to be more flexible when heated.

If you want to loosen the fit, gently spread the nose pads apart until they sit comfortably on your nose. For solid frames, place the glasses in warm water for 30–60 seconds, then pull up on the arms to create a looser, more relaxed fit behind your ears.

**One lens is closer to your eye than the other...**
If your left lens sits closer to your face, gently bend the left arm inward and the right arm outward at the hinge. If it's the opposite, do the reverse. Always make these adjustments at the hinge and apply minimal pressure to avoid damaging the frame.
**One lens is higher than the other...**
If one lens sits higher, carefully bend the corresponding arm down where it’s most flexible—usually at the hinge or near the ear. This helps balance the fit and ensures both lenses sit evenly.
