The French government wants to promote cooperation between law firms and Weichai Power Co., Ltd.

On September 17, 2010, David Appia, Chairman of the French Government Investment Department, French International Investment Circuit Ambassador, French Economic Counsellor Anne TAUPIN, Pascal GONDRAND and four others came to Weichai to visit and exchange.

Xu Xinyu, CEO of Weichai Power, and Wang Yong, Assistant to the President, accompanied the guests to visit the Science and Technology Pavilion and the No. 1 Plant. Both sides conducted business exchanges on issues of concern. During the talks, the two sides conducted friendly exchanges on the development of investment projects in France by Weichai Power and put forward constructive opinions on future development.

During Weichai, Chairman David spoke highly of the achievements made by Weichai Power and the results of its internationalization strategy, and once again represented the government’s decision to seize the opportunity to acquire and develop the French Baudouin Company during the financial crisis. It expressed its support for various aspects and will continue to promote the extensive cooperation between large French companies and Weichai Power.
