Plainfield Fire Protection District responded to an attached garage fire this morning, on Friday, in the 16400 block of Winding Creek Road. Engine 1941 was the first unit on scene and reported a working fire. From what could be seen, the fire appeared to be confined to the garage area. The crews did an excellent job containing the blaze quickly and efficiently. It's always good to see such a coordinated response from the local fire department.
