Hey everyone, This message is from Steve Redick. He just sent me some cool updates and photos from around Chicago Fire Department stations. It looks like things have been pretty active lately! Here's what he had to say: "On Saturday, March 11th, 2017, I was down at 48 W Garfield Blvd. It was an interesting day because Squad 5 seemed to have something attached to their front bumper—a length or two of 1 3/4 inch hose, maybe for use with an engine or divider. Honestly, it looked really cool! Always love seeing these little details that make each unit unique." And check this out—Steve snapped some awesome pics while he was there. The first one shows Squad 5 looking sharp as ever. In another shot, you can see firefighters working on a fire scene downtown. There’s also a great action shot of a firefighter climbing an aerial ladder, which I think is super inspiring. Plus, he got some great images of Engine 84, Ambulance 1, Truck 51, and Engine 50. Each photo highlights different aspects of firefighting operations in Chicago. These photos really capture the dedication and hard work of our local heroes. Steve mentioned how proud he is to share these moments with everyone. If you’re into fire service photography, definitely keep an eye out for more updates from him. I’ll make sure to post them here so we can all enjoy the view! Stay safe, everyone. And remember, behind every great team, there’s always someone capturing those unforgettable moments. Take care, [Your Name]
