The pilot shows that bioethanol gasoline, as a new type of biofuel, is currently the focus of renewable energy development in the world and is fully applicable in China. Compared with ordinary unleaded gasoline, bioethanol gasoline improves the performance and quality of oil products and is technically mature, safe and reliable. At the same time, industrial development has greater social, economic and environmental benefits. At present, China has become the third largest biofuel ethanol producer in the world after Brazil and the United States.
According to another understanding, according to the special plan for the development of biofuel ethanol during the "Tenth Five-Year Plan" period, the state approved the construction of four pilot projects for biofuel ethanol production. Up to now, an annual production capacity of 1.02 million tons has been formed, including 100,000 tons/year of Heilongjiang China Resources Alcohol Co., Ltd., 300,000 tons/year of Jilin Fuel Ethanol Co., Ltd., 300,000 tons/year of Henan Tianguan Fuel Ethanol Co., Ltd. and Anhui Feng Original Chemical Co., Ltd. 320,000 tons/year. The above four companies have cumulatively produced more than 1.2 million tons of ethanol for biofuels.
According to the news released by the National Development and Reform Commission website on the 17th, after a period of trials, the National Development and Reform Commission has decided to report to the State Council on the "Report on the Assessment of the Ethanol Gasoline Pilot Work of Vehicles and the Next Step of the Development of the Biofuel Ethanol Industry". At the pilot meeting of the Ethanol Gasoline Pilot Project held recently by the Development and Reform Commission's Industry Division, delegates suggested that cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Tianjin be included in the next promotion to increase the proportion of biomass energy applications.
