Flotation granularity is one of the important factors for achieving better flotation results. Therefore, in order to ensure a better economic index of flotation technology, it is of great significance to correctly determine the fineness of grinding. Grinding fineness must meet the following requirements in order to obtain better flotation indicators:
1. Useful minerals basically achieve monomer separation. Only a small amount of useful minerals and gangue conjunctiva are allowed before flotation.
2. The particle size of the coarse-grained monomer mineral must be less than the upper limit of the particle size of the mineral float.
3. Avoid mud formation as much as possible. When the diameter of the flotation ore is less than 0.01 mm, the flotation index drops significantly. When the particle size is less than 2 to 5 microns, the useful minerals and the gangue can hardly be floated and separated. Therefore, proper grinding fineness is very important.
