It is reported that CSR Shanghai Hange and Singapore General Haiye Group recently signed a cooperation contract for two 57-meter multi-purpose marine engineering support ship electric propulsion systems. This is the first order harvested by China's CRRC ship electro-pushing system industry in 2016, and it is also the first application in foreign offshore ship projects. The ship is classified by the French Classification Society. The shipyard is China Merchants Heavy Industry (Haimen) Co., Ltd., with a construction period of 19 months. The first ship is expected to be delivered in October 2017.
