Today, with the rapid development of green shipbuilding and new energy technologies, it is timely to develop LNG powered ships, that is, LNG fuel-powered ships. Recently, China Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and Yantai Company, together with Dalian Yuchai Group and other related units, successfully completed the integration of the “Yinhe Power†series of inland navigation vessels LNG power package system on-land joint test for official shipment.      In August 2015, the seven-fourth Hengtuo Company and Dalian Yuchai Energy Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement, which opened up the road to jointly build the “Yinhe Power†series LNG power package, and also enabled the two parties to standardize, serialize and intelligentize the ship. On the basis of existing cooperation, we have established a strategic partnership for new energy technologies. As a comprehensive platform company that develops industrialization and develops industrialization, Hengtuo has set up various business divisions such as electric power propulsion, power system and offshore engineering, relying on the strong military technology accumulation and market operation experience of the seven. It can be said that it is currently the largest ship equipment system integration enterprise in China. Dalian Yuchai Energy Co., Ltd. is the first enterprise in China to develop and sell LNG power ships. With the goal of “Green Ship Leaderâ€, it is committed to expanding and promoting a full range of LNG power vessels from inland rivers to ocean and ocean engineering. The cooperation between the seven-four-four Hengtuo company and Dalian Yuchai can be described as a strong alliance.
     During the cooperation, the two parties exerted their respective technological advantages in LNG fuel system, electric propulsion, rudder propeller power integration, and the market advantages of new energy power ships, and jointly developed and designed 5 cubic fixed tank LNG gas for ships. The system dual-fuel main engine power pack, 10-foot mobile tank LNG gas supply system dual fuel main engine power pack, built the "Shanghai Hengtuo LNG Complete Test Center". On April 8th, 2016, the first LNG power package system consisting of dual fuel main engine, LNG storage tank, security control system, host remote control console, gear box and other equipment began the on-land joint test and successively carried out LNG. Gasification parameter test, security system alarm test, host dual fuel conversion test, host remote control test, etc. The test results show that the entire system is operating normally. On April 30th, the first phase of the trial was a complete success.
Taking this as an opportunity, Hengtuo will launch a series of “power package†products for pure gas host systems, electric propulsion or hybrid propulsion systems in the future. The entire power package will be fully landed before installation. Adjust to greatly shorten the actual ship installation and commissioning, mooring test cycle. With the development of LNG power technology, Hengtuo Company will better save shipbuilding costs for ship owners and shipyards, enhance core competitiveness and achieve industrial upgrading for enterprises, and build China's domestic shipping LNG power industry chain and build ecological and environmental protection.
