At the meeting, experts from the China Phosphate Fertilizer Industry Association stated that it is imminent for the phosphorus and compound fertilizer industry to vigorously promote scientific and technological innovation, rationally develop and utilize phosphorus-sulfur resources, and promote upgrading of products and industrial structure. Large-scale phosphate and compound fertilizer enterprises shall vigorously develop reliable reserve ore sources; the management department shall take effective measures to limit the export of phosphate ore and encourage the import of phosphate ore; and the basic high-concentration phosphate and compound fertilizer shall continue to be transferred to Yun, Gui, E, and Chuan. At the same time, we should actively carry out soil testing and fertilizer application and develop and produce special fertilizers suitable for different regions and different crops. In addition, it is necessary to speed up the construction of high-concentration phosphate and compound fertilizer production bases and form an intensive industrial structure dominated by large-scale phosphate and compound fertilizer enterprise groups.
