The remote real-time monitoring system for electric vehicles includes vehicle terminals, wireless connection networks, background server hardware and software systems, client PC software, and Android smart phone software.


The vehicle terminal uses NXP ARM Cortex M3 microcontroller as the main chip, the wireless communication module uses Huawei's GPRS module, the wireless connection network uses the current Unicom's CPRS network, selects ordinary data traffic packages, and the background server selects DELL's small general-purpose server. Independent three sets of servers were used to complete the communication management, background service management and database management. The system software used Server2003+MySOL database system.

The client and server adopt the c/s structure. The client software is divided into the PC client and the smartphone client. The terminal software is a multi-tasking software system that uses the uCOS-II operating system to facilitate task adjustment and scheduling. The development language uses the embedded C language, uses the MDK development environment, and has advanced full simulation capabilities.

System Function The complete system can complete the remote real-time monitoring of vehicle operating data and charging data, real-time fault diagnosis, and realizes the monitoring of the status of the operating vehicle.

The system has the following important functions:

1 Read the current and historical operating parameters data stream of the vehicle;

2 read the vehicle's current fault code and freeze frame data;

3 Read the key controller software version of the vehicle;

4 read the charge parameter data flow of the vehicle charging process;

5 statistical analysis of the occurrence rate of specified vehicles;

6 The terminal can store data stream information in real time;

7 When a critical event such as a vehicle malfunction occurs, the terminal can automatically report the server. The service software can alert the vehicle user via smart phone messages.

8 The specified data stream can be uploaded to the supervisory server through FTP.

System monitoring mode According to different vehicle conditions, the system mainly includes two modes: vehicle operation mode and vehicle charging mode.

1 vehicle operating mode This mode is the default mode of the vehicle, the vehicle is in the power running state, can drive normally, the monitoring terminal records in real time and can upload the vehicle operating parameters.

2 Vehicle charging mode When the charging cable is connected to the charger, the vehicle enters charging mode and cannot drive. At this time, only the car charger, battery manager and other charging related parts and monitoring terminal work, other control nodes do not power. Vehicle monitoring terminal records in real time and can upload charging data.
