Types' Specification:
Welding Neck:
1. Preferred for high-pressure, subzero, or elevated temperature environments.
2. Hub is tapered and bored to match the pipe's inside diameter, ensuring smooth flow and reducing turbulence and erosion.
3. Easily radiographed and provides excellent stress distribution.
Slip-On:
1. Not typically used in high-stress applications due to limited hub and weld attachment.
2. Slips over the outside of the pipe.

Lap Joint:
