Scrap Copper Wire Granulator General Introduction
1. Wires and cables are fed into the crusher, where they are crushed and completely separated into copper and plastic. The size of the crushed material depends on the mesh size of the sieve—larger meshes result in longer pieces and higher output. The appropriate mesh should be selected based on the type of material being processed.
2. The crushed mixture of copper granules and plastic is conveyed to the separator via a conveyor. During this process, dust and some lightweight plastic fragments (such as fibers, ropes, or tapes mixed in the wires) are collected by the pressure-reducing blower. The blower’s opening is connected to the dust collector, which uses a dust collection bag to prevent dust emissions, ensuring environmental protection. Dust and some lightweight plastic pieces are collected in the bag and discharged when it is full.
3. The separator is used to separate plastic pieces from copper granules. This is done based on differences in physical properties and specific gravity between materials. Under the influence of aerodynamic forces and vibration friction, copper granules (with higher specific gravity) move to the bottom of the sieve and move upward, while plastic pieces (with lower specific gravity) move to the top and move downward. In the end, both materials are discharged through different outlets.
4. All units are installed on the underbed to form a complete structure. The machine is pre-adjusted for production before shipping, so the customer only needs to connect it to the power supply.
