Northbrook Fire Department responded to a call at 1630 Ferndale Avenue for a reported fire. Upon arrival, Northbrook crews, along with a Glenview engine, found light smoke coming from the roof of the home. It turned out to be a small fire on the rear exterior of the property. Fortunately, no one was injured, and the fire was quickly contained. The cause is still under investigation.
