On Sunday morning, June 28, 2015, a fire broke out at a Red-X building located at 7038 S. Sangamon Street. The incident occurred around 7:00 AM, prompting emergency responders to rush to the scene. Firefighters from the Chicago Fire Department quickly arrived and began their efforts to contain the blaze.
Several images captured the intensity of the situation, showing firefighters using a Snorkel apparatus to fight the flames.
