The two national standards for "vehicle fuel methanol" and "vehicle methanol gasoline (M85)" have been promulgated; cold cranking of engines that have plagued methanol gasoline applications, swelling of methanol, non-metal parts such as plastics and rubber, and related methanol toxicity, etc. The problems have all achieved substantial breakthroughs; problems such as the delamination of alcohols and oils and the optimization of composite additives have also been basically solved.
“In particular, the domestic methanol production capacity is huge and it is urgently needed to find a way out.†Chen Jiansheng said that recently, China’s methanol production has increased rapidly, and countries such as the Middle East have also been fueled by oil, and large-scale implementation of methanol dumping in China has caused domestic methanol companies to suffer from their enemies. .
